Barbara B. Stuetzer Barbara B. Stuetzer, of Geneva, age 95, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2019. Parents Alexander B & Laura B (Foster) McColl, she was born in St. Joseph, Missouri on August 4, 1923, lived most of her life in Geneva. She was an Athletic Director, School Nurse & Teacher for Geneva Schools for 32 years, retiring in 1985. Organizations she was involved in are, Friends of the Geneva Library, Eagle Block Watch & Modern Literary Forum. She loved spending time with family, enjoyed knitting, cards, observing tennis matches and baseball games.
Survivors: Children: John (Mary) Stuetzer, Alex (Juanita) Stuetzer, Beth Stuetzer, Becky (Mark) Caskey & Scott (Ann) Stuetzer; Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Preceded: Husband: Fred J. Stuetzer; Parents; Sister: Mary M. Teachout.
Calling Hours: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M, Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
Clergy: Reverend Michael Rose, Peoples Church.
Service: 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 14, 2019, at Walker Funeral Home
Private Family Graveside at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva.

Mrs. Steutzer was a very special person. Always smiling. I enjoyed her as a teacher, tremendously. She will be missed. God bless her family and friends.

Mrs. Steutzer was our teacher, colleague and friend. We are sad to learn of her passing but feel honored to have learned so many life lessons from her. She will be missed by many in our schools and community. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
