Carly M. (Shinault) Remington
Painesville- Carly Marie Remington, 24, beloved wife, daughter and sister died unexpectedly on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Tri-Point Hospital.
The daughter of Kevin and Connie (Sullivan) Shinault, Carly was born on May 14, 1993 in Ashtabula, Ohio.
On June 6, 2015 Carly and Julian Remington were united in marriage. Although their time together was short; their days were full of love and laughter.
Carly was a 2011 graduate of Lakeside High School and graduated from Lakeland College in 2015. She had just begun her banking career with Key Bank in Concord.
Carly loved baking and dreamed of one day owning her own bakery. She was an avid reader, enjoyed drawing and singing. Animals were drawn to Carly and they were never far from her side. Carlys greatest passion was her family; building a life with Julian gave her great joy.
When Carly walked into a room she owned it; her smile, bright lipstick and heels were her signature. Carly will be remembered as a strong, spirited and loving woman. She will always be in the hearts of her family and friends.
Carlys intensity for life will continue in the lives of others; her last gift was the gift of herself so that they might live.
Carly is survived by her beloved husband, Julian Remington of Painesville; her mother, Connie (Tim Mathews) Shinault of Ashtabula; her father, Kevin (Rose) Shinault of the Philippines; brothers, Stephen Shinault of Mauritius and Justin Shinault of Columbus; grandparents, Thomas (Linda) Lee of Jefferson, Dale (Barb) Sullivan of Geneva; great-grandmother, Barbara Currence of Saybrook; her mother and father-in-law, Harry (Carolyn) Remington; grandparents-in-law, Doug (Linda) Love of Painesville.
Carly was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents.
A Celebration of Carlys life will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at Leroy Community Chapel, 12920 Painesville-Warren Road Leroy, OH. Lad Chapman, Pastor will officiate.
