Christopher B. Kibler, Sr., 47, passed away late Friday December 29, 2017, at Hillcrest Hospital after suffering a massive heart attack earlier that morning.
He was born in Cleveland on June 21, 1970, and was the son of Ron and Marlene (Jensen) Kibler.
Chris was a 1989 graduate of VO-ED and Geneva High School. Chris was a dedicated worked at Premix for the past 27 years.
On July 9, 2004, he married Mary Furman, his loving wife of the past 13 years.
Chris was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and riding his motorcycle; he was also a very talented musician. He was a proud and loving husband, father, son, grandfather, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his loving family; his parents Ron and Marlene Kibler of Geneva; his wife Mary of Ashtabula; his children: Dillon Wilson of Geneva, Joshua (Naomi) Severe of Ashtabula, Julia Kibler of Niles, Morgan Kibler of Geneva, Krista (Kurtis) Severe of Dorset, Veronica Kibler of Ashtabula and Christopher "C.J." Kibler of Ashtabula; his grandchildren: Hunter and Levi Severe; his sisters Robin Kibler of Genera and Anna Arnold of Geneva; his brother-in-law Brett Arnold who was also his very best friend; his brothers: Clifford Kibler of Conneaut and Andrew (Amy) Kibler of Cleveland; as well as his nieces and nephews: Mitchell, Jeremiah, Rebecca, Brittany and Roxeann.
Funeral services will be held on Friday evening at 6:00 at the CZUP FUNERAL HOME, 1329 Lake Avenue Ashtabula
Calling hours will also be held on Friday at the funeral home from 4:00 to 6:00
Just as Chris was very generous in life, so was has he in death. He saved, healed and restored sight through Organ, Eye and Tissue donation.
