Clifford William Kadon, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Kadon was born and raised in Ashtabula, OH, where he graduated from Ashtabula High School. He went on to graduate with a Bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
Mr. Kadon started his career as a probation officer at the Lucas County Juvenile Court in Toledo Ohio. After 8 years he moved to New Carrollton, MD, where he worked as a Federal Probation Officer in the Washington, D.C. area for over 20 years until his retirement.
For the last 20 years, he has lived in Edenton, NC, and volunteered for several years in the Edenton Visitor's Center.
Mr. Kadon was an avid traveler, history buff and stamp collector.
He is survived by his daughters, Lynore A. Kadon of Palm City, FL, and Charlene M.(Raymond) Gibbons of Selbyville, DE; son, Mark A. (Bea) Kadon of Leesburg, VA; grandchildren, Sean Palmer and fiancé, Laura Benevento, Jason Palmer, Katherine (Ka Fai Lam) Riden, Christopher A. Kadon, Anthony W. Kadon, Kristen (Matthew) Gajdos; and great-granddaughter, Adley Gajdos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Dorothy Kadon.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, December 2nd, at 1 PM at Edgewood Cemetery in Ashtabula, OH.
