Delores Hanna, age 93, a former Kingsville area resident, went home to be with the Lord on October 11, 2017. She had resided in Florida for the past 17 years.
She was born August 23, 1924, in Andover, Ohio, the daughter of Walter and Rosella (Flack) Hedrick and lived most of her life in Kingsville before moving to Florida in 2000.
Delores married the late Emory L. Hanna in 1947 in Clifton Forge, Virginia.
She attended First Assembly of God/Gateway Church in Ashtabula. As a greeter, she had a hug for all who entered the church. In recent years she attended Stetson Baptist Church in DeLand, FL, where she enjoyed the fellowship with her Sunday School class.
Delores retired from Premix, Inc. in September of 1989, after 23 years of service as a press operator.
Survivors include her sons, Elbert (Shirley) of North Kingsville, and David (Carole) of DeLand, FL; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; a sister Eleanor Herrmann of Lilburn, GA; and a brother Rodney Hedrick of Jefferson, OH.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1998, brother Donald, Darle, Robert, and Raymond Hedrick, a sister Ella Mae Herman, and a great grandson Matthew.
Private entombment will be November 3 in Greenlawn Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
A celebration of life service will be held November 2, 2017, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Ashtabula Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road with Pastor Kenneth Roberts.
