Dennis Allen Zee, 70, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 1, 2018. Dennis was born February 25, 1948 in Cleveland, OH. He was the son of Julius & Rita Zee.
Dennis grew up in Pierpont, OH and graduated from Edgewood High School in 1966, where he excelled in multiple sports and was Class President. He attended Edinboro University on sports scholarship before working as a machinist at Rockwell Brake Plant in Ashtabula, OH. Dennis moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1977 and was a buyer in the Purchasing Department at Honeywell. After retiring, he spent time in both Arizona and Ohio. One of his favorite hobbies was spending time at the local horse tracks, both in Ohio and Arizona. He was employed at Turf Paradise, in Phoenix, up until his death. Dennis was also an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Dennis is survived by 4 children: son, Timothy (Natalie) Zee of North Kingsville, OH; daughter, Robin Zee of Ashtabula, OH; daughter, Wendi Zee of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Erin (Steve) Rain of Phoenix, AZ; and stepson, James Lynch of Phoenix, AZ; also 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Robert (Cyndy) Zee of Lancaster, OH; sister, Patricia (David) Maille of Cleveland, OH; sister, Barbara (David) Musgrave, of Greenville, FL; and sister, Michelle (Lee) Bodnar of Columbus, OH. He was preceded by his parents.
A Memorial Service will be held honoring Dennis at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 29th, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, North Kingsville, OH. Flowers can be sent to Greenlawn in North Kingsville.
