Doris E. Boberg, age 94, Ashtabula, died Saturday afternoon at the Saybrook Landing where she had been a resident the past 18 months.
She was born January 16, 1923, in Lenox Twp., the daughter of Roy & Mary (Furber) Fuller and has been an Ashtabula County resident all of her life. Mrs. Boberg is a retired employee of the General Electric Corp. She was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. Her interests include flower gardening, crocheting and doing bead work, making jewelry and Christmas ornaments.
Her survivors include a daughter, Judith A. (David) Silva of Ashtabula; a son-in-law, James Meyer of Jefferson; three grandchildren, Michael L. (Angie) Meyer of Austinburg Twp., Kelly S. (James) Paulchel of Kingsville Twp. & Cheryl A. Anastasia of Geneva; a granddaughter-in-law, Annette Meyer of Chardon; six great-grandchildren, Tiffany, Ashley, Anthony, Joseph, Tim & Courtney; and two great-great-grandchildren, Gianna & Leo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy Walter Boberg in 1976; a daughter, Mary Meyer in 2001; a son, James W. Boberg in 1966; grandchildren, Nancy, Timothy, Scott & Christopher; a sister, Mabel Stainfield; and brothers, John, Darwin, Donald & Robert Fuller.
Private graveside services will be Saturday at 12:00 P. M. at Oakdale Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Emery of the Bible Baptist Church officiating. No calling hours will be observed. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Animal Protective League, 5970 Green Rd., Ashtabula, OH 44004
