Franklin's Story

Franklin Warner, age 80, of Geneva, passed away Monday, March 12, 2018, at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born March 27, 1937, in Canaan Valley, WV, he was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Heitz) Warner. He married Lexie (Preston) Deems on July 2, 1997 in Geneva.
Frank worked for many years as a Construction Supervisor for ODNR's Parks and Recreation Division. Early on is his career he worked in the Shipping Department at the Rayon Corporation. An avid outdoorsman, Frank loved hunting and working on his hobby farm, running the backhoe and tending to his garden.
Frank is survived by his wife: Lexie; his children: Connie (Greg) Fobes, Kathy Lewis, Frank Jr., and Bryan; step children: Melvin B. Deems, David B Deems; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sisters Emily Smith and Flora Robinson; and his 4 legged best friend Rex.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife: Elizabeth; stepson: Randy A.; sisters: Sara Ann Williams and Hallie Brenwald.
Friends and family will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, March 16th at the funeral home.
