John "Butch" Baker, age 81, passed away on March 14, 2017, in Jefferson, Ohio.
John enjoyed reading, photography, hunting, his guitar, and time with his family, friends, and dogs.
John was a medic in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was stationed in New York City, and also in Iceland.
He is survived by his children, Jim (Patricia) Baker, Mary (Peter) Norris, Deborah Baker, and Becky (Robert) Hall; grandchildren, Michael (Rachael) Tobie, Marisa (Jose) Haro, Steven Norris, Benjamin Norris, Jonathan Hall, Daniel Hall, and Josephine Hall; great-grandchildren, April, Elliott, Sophia, Grayson, and Killian; siblings, Barbara Tucker and Albert Baker; and companion Doreen Demshar.
John donated his body to Case Western Reserve Medical School for research studies. A memorial service will be held on April 15th, at 4 p.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 571 Seven Hills Rd., Ashtabula. A reception will be held immediately after the service.
