John was always a great Host when Sis and I would go back for Visits. When Judy (his wife our sister} and Sis and I would go into the den and chat in the evening after dinner, he would always fix us a bowl of ice cream or strawberries and ice cream and bring it to us. He was a great man! Loved by all.
