JOHN J DRAGON JR. John J. Dragon Jr., age 94, passed away Friday, November 23, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Julia (nee Mulholland) whom he married on May 12, 1945.
He is survived by his loving children Gloria Kennedy (Robert) of Georgia, Joyce Cerjan (Ron) of Geneva, Marlene Krisko of Ashland, Joni Esposito (Anthony) of Brunswick, Steve Dragon (Kim) of Geneva, Robin Klatka (Johnnie) of South Carolina, and Dennis Dragon (Eileen) of Geneva. Cherished grandfather of 15; and great-grandfather of 18. Dear brother of Andy Dragon (Norma), and Vernie Capitena (Charles).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and John Sr.; his wonderful son-in-law, Timothy Krisko; his brother Mike Dragon; Helen Harkais, Joe Dragon, Paul Dragon, and Maryann Miller.
John was most known for his 55 years of Carpentry and was the owner of Dragon Construction, where he got to work with his sons for many years. In his younger years he worked at Ashtabula Bow Socket. He really loved any event that was outside especially, gardening, horseshoes, snowmobiling, golfing, and was an accomplished pitcher for both hardball and softball for many company leagues. When he took his talents in doors he would bowl in many leagues, and dancing to his polka music. Life Celebration to be held 4-5pm, with a Celebration Service officiated by Deacon Rich Johnson at 5pm, Saturday, December 1, 2018, at the ZABACK -WILLIAMS - DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect, Ashtabula.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave. Cleveland, OH 44110. Arrangement by Malloy-Esposito Crematory & Funeral Home.
