June's Story

June Katherine Lloyd, 87, passed away on December 17, 2017.
She was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on March 26, 1930, the daughter of Earl and Katherine (Clark) Loose.
June was generous, upbeat, and hardworking throughout her entire life.
A 1948 graduate of Ashtabula High School, June was very active in the marching band, French club, and many others.
She married David Lloyd on June 21, 1952.
June had a long and rewarding career as a banker, working at Society/Keybank for over 20 years. Being an avid volunteer and very active person, June was a Girl Scout leader, a volunteer of the ACMC Hospital System for over 20,000 volunteer hours of service, as well as a board member of the ACMC volunteers as their Treasurer.
June was also an active member of friends of the Harbor Topky Library as a volunteer and board treasurer, as well. When she wasn't volunteering she loved to go shopping.
She is survived by her daughter, Leslie Lloyd of Willoughby; son, Dan (Candy) Lloyd of Houston, TX; grandsons, Jansen and Ryan Lloyd, both of Houston, TX; and brother, Donald (MaryKay) Loose, of Citrus Heights, CA.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Lloyd; brother, Earl Loose Jr.; and sister, Norma Jean (Loose) Jaskela.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held in her honor on Friday, December 22, 2017 at 11AM at Mother of Sorrows Church, 1464 West 6th Street, Ashtabula.
Immediately following the service, the family invites friends and family to gather for a celebration of her life at 2513 Walnut Blvd, Ashtabula.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor will be accepted at the Harbor-Topky Memorial Library, 1633 Walnut Blvd, Ashtabula, where she was an active volunteer.
