Kate Micou Esterer died on Easter, April 16, 2017, in Greensboro, N.C.
She was born in Birmingham, Mich., on Feb. 19, 1936.
Survived by her son, Andrew B. Esterer of St. Louis, Mo., and his three children, Sharon Ashcroft McCarthy, Amanda and Alex Esterer and great-grandchildren, Thomas and Kellen McCarthy, and Rowan Dean; her son, David C. Esterer of Dublin, Ohio, his wife, Lisa Ann Esterer, and their three children, Tyler Fogal, Madeline Kate, and Eleanor Grace Esterer; her son, Paul Esterer of Bentonville, Ark., his wife, Rebecca Hall Esterer, and their four children, Benjamin J. Matthew F., David A., And Sidney C. Esterer; her daughter, Katherine Esterer Miller of Greensboro, N.C., her husband, Richard Miller, and their three children, Susan, David, and Peter Miller; and her former husband, Arnulf W. Esterer of Conneaut, Ohio.
Predeceased by her parents, Benjamin Hall Micou and Francis Bromley Micou formerly of Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and her brother, David L. Micou of Madison Heights, Mich.
A private family celebration of her life will be held over Memorial Day.
