So sorry to learn of Dr. Brace's passing. He was a really great doctor and seeing him at his office it was like talking to a friend. My kids always loved Trick or Treating at the Brace house. Thank you Dr. Brace and may you Rest In Peace.

Dr. Brace was a really special physician. My family began seeing him the moment he came back to Ashtabula and continued until his retirement. No matter how sick we were, he was able to get us to laugh. He will be missed by so many. Art, Karen, and Michael, may you be comforted by your memories.

What a tremendous loss. Dr. Brace was not only an amazing Dr. but a wonderful person. I saw him, my Pediatrician, until he retired and I was in my 30's :). I couldn't have imagined going to any other Dr. until I was forced to upon his retirement. My Grandmother was his nurse for many years and always had nothing but wonderful things to say about him! RIP Dr. Brace!

Doctor Brace was my family doctor many years ago and he was a doctor that always would make time to listen to his patients. I saw him a year a two ago and he still remembered me which made me feel good. He was also smiling and friendly to you whether you were in his office or on the streets of Ashtabula. He will be missed. Thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

Dr. Brace was amazing! He was our family doctor for years, in fact Dr. Brace delivered me! He was my Mom's birthday buddy and a wonderful friend to our family. My father and Dr. Brace joked at Christmas time about how they had a bet double or nothing to pay the bill for my delivery. When I worked the medical staff office he stopped in to check on me at least once a week. He is loved so very much and will be missed.
Our deepest sympathies,

It's with a heavy heart that I write this. Dr. Brace was an asset to the community and to our wonderful family.
I remember my boys actually enjoying going to see Dr. Brace and getting a toy of their choice after their appointments.
I thank GOD everyday for Dr. Brace, as he saved my sons life and mine, also.
Here's to his journey to heaven to reap the blessings and rewards he so justly deserves.

Awe I just loved Dr. Brace! He was a character practicing medicine with a sense of humor. When you're a young child, you don't want to go to the doctor. Dr. Brace made it fun to go see him. At the end of your visit, you always got to choose a toy. He was the best! In recent years, I always spoke to him whenever I saw him and he still had his sense of humor. My deepest sympathies.

My prayers and heartfelt wishes to the children, grandchildren and family of this wonderful doctor and hero to our family. From the time he was a high school friend of our neighbors, the Koski family, I remember hearing the laughter and animated conversation between Chuck Koski and Kenny Brace on the front porch of Chuck's homestead....we lived next door and were inspired by their energy and humor. Later, Doctor Brace kept my father and mother healthy and our family happy. He visited my husband and I at our home to care for our newly born son, Tim, who had become very ill. He saved our baby's life that day. Counsel, treatment, hope and a better life were the gifts he gave to all of us ...and now we pray that he receives the rewards due for his goodness and the practice of healing.Read more
