Kenneth J. Wilson
CONNEAUT Kenneth Jerry Wilson, 61, completed his tasks on earth and began his heavenly journey on Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
Kenneth is the son of Gravel and Dorothy (Yates) Wilson and was born on December 6, 1955 in Okeechobee, Florida.
Kenneth was a finish carpenter and professional home remodeler. He took great pride in his work and treated his clients as family.
Kenneth and Carmella Kirk were married on May 19, 1984 in Florida. During their thirty three years of marriage the created many treasured memories on their journey of love.
Kenneth and Carmella shared their love of the Lord. Together they worshipped and served members of their church and the community. On Tuesday evening they were at church witnessing about Gods abundant love; not knowing that Kenneth was beginning his journey homeward.
Kenneth was Mr. Fix-It; if you needed it repaired he was the man to do just that. He had a passion for fishing and enjoyed spending time in the quietness of Gods beauty.
Although, Kenneth was not blessed with children, he was loved by many as a father figure. He was not judgmental; he loved and accepted people unconditional. Believing that there was good in everyone; you just had to nurture and love them to let that goodness shine.
Kenneth is survived by his beloved wife, Carmella Wilson ofConneaut; sisters and brothers in law; nieces and nephews; many friends and his church family.
Kenneth was preceded in death by parents, Gravel and Dorothy Wilson; siblings, John Wilson and Patricia Wilson; his much honored mother-in-law, Rhoda Kirk.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Maple Grove Cemetery, Plymouth Township. Rev. Robert Falke will officiate.
