Lauren L. Blood
CLEVELAND - Lauren Lenore Blood, 70, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at University Hospital.
Lauren is the daughter of Joseph and Theodora (Otto) Poros, she was born on April 22, 1947 in Ashtabula and lived in Oregon and Ohio.
Lauren and David Blood were united in marriage on June 1, 1968 and together they created a loving family and many cherished memories.
Lauren had many interests and hobbies; she was an avid fan of the Cleveland Cavs, reading western novels, especially Louis L'Amour, going for drives and meeting friends for coffee. Her inquisitive mind led her to learn more of the history of Native Americans and their culture as well as visiting the Amish community. Lauren had a soft spot in her heart for animals, and gave them the best care. Lauren was a wonderful mom, encouraging and supporting her children in their endeavors and spoiling her much loved grandchildren.
She will be remembered for her strength and courage through adversity and her love of family.
Lauren is survived by her children and their spouses; Daniel and Katherine Blood of Medfield, MA, Rebecca and Philip Cleveland of Jefferson, Brenda and Robert Long of Ashtabula, David, Jr. and Tracey Blood . of John Day, OR, and William and Dorothy Blood of Forest Grove, OR; her much loved grandchildren, Quinn, Shea, Rowen, Molly, Emily, Benjamin, Hayden, Kade, Tyler, Noah, Levi, Luke, Naomi, and Anna; her sister and her husband, Penny and Edward Vaughn of Ashtabula.
Lauren was preceded in death by her husband of twenty one years, David Blood, Sr. on September 23, 1989 and her parents.
Private services are being observed.
