OGDEN [ndash] Linda Marie Emmett, age 67, passed away on January 8, 2018. She was born on May 28, 1950, in Conneaut, Ohio, the second child of four to Jorma Albert Aho and Gertrude Isabelle Marvin Aho.
Linda graduated from Harbor High School in Ashtabula, Ohio, and Stevens Henagar College in Ogden Utah. She married Jeff Emmett in Ohio in 1969, whom she later divorced. She married Pete Holden in Utah in 1971, whom she later divorced.
She has lived in Ashtabula, Ohio, Brigham City, Tremonton, Logan, Ogden, and West Roy, Utah. Linda worked at General Electric in Jefferson, Ohio, Thiokol Corp, in Promontory, Utah, Utah Auto Parts in Ogden, and Tony Divino Toyota in Riverdale.
Linda's hobbies included crafts, photography, fishing, baking, mountains, travel and Indian music. Her experience through many years dealing with people, particularly her shuttle customers at Toyota, has been her biggest joy in life.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents; maternal and paternal grandparents; four uncles; and three aunts.
She is survived by her brothers; Denny (Linda) Aho of Oklahoma, and Rod (Pearl) Aho of Stevensville, MT; sister, Diana (Tom) Cox of Auburn, CA; as well as nine nieces & nephews, several great nieces & nephews and several cousins. Linda had several special friends, including Ray Barker, Rod Newton, and Chuck Dominguez.
Services were held on Ogden, Utah; In lieu of Flowers; Donations may be made to any cancer or Alzheimer's organizations.
