Marlene "Kip" Tate
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on February 15, 1938, the daughter of Clarence and Catherine (Byanne) Morrow.
Kip graduated from Willoughby Union High School in 1957.
On January 30, 1960, she married William P. Tate, her loving and devoted husband of almost 60 years.
She worked for 10 years at KD Manufacturing in Orwell. Kip and Bill enjoyed camping and traveling all over the country for competitive field dog competitions. Kip was a supportive and loving mom to her three wonderful daughters, and her grandchildren were her source of true happiness; she was so very proud of all of them.
She is survived by her loving family: her husband Bill; her daughters: Theresa "Terri" (Steve) Mader of Rome, Linda (Tony Seiter) Mikesell of Roaming Shores and Loren (Richard) Tooley of Wooster; her 8 grandchildren: Lindsay Curie, Clay Mader, Heather Tate, Melissa Schroeder, Cody Mikesell, Nicole Farthing, Jessica Hill and Danielle Tooley; 9 great-grandchildren; and her siblings: Catherine Kramer, Lawrence Morrow; her twin, Maureen Banner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her siblings: Thomas, Joann Durkee and Margaret Mansfield.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 at the FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, JEFFERSON location, 49 W. Jefferson Street, Jefferson, Ohio.
Graveside funeral services will take place Friday at 11:00 am at the New Lyme Cemetery.
