Mary L. Coy, 89 of Geneva-on-the-Lake died Wednesday (Dec. 20th) at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born July 27, 1928 in Ashtabula the daughter of Leonard and Jessie (Phillips) Webber and has been a lifetime area resident.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving her are her three children, Patricia Weimer with whom she made her home; Douglas (Kathy) Coy of Geneva and Eugene (Rhonda) Coy of Saybrook Township; five grandchildren, Ed, Mary Jo, Kylie, Katie and Erin and fifteen great grandchildren, Brittney, Mike, Colton, Morgan, Lance, Blake, Jackson, Griffin, Kelsey, Dylan, Jake, Josie, Rachel, Emily and Stephen. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Wilbert Coy in 2003; a great-great granddaughter, Sidney Tilburg; a brother, Leonard Webber, Jr and a sister, Eileen Corey.
The family would like to thank the nurses and Doctors on 4 North at the Ashtabula County Medical Center for the wonderful care they gave their mother.
Funeral service will be Saturday (Dec. 23rd) at 11:00 AM at the Geneva Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 323 South Broadway, Geneva with Rev. Bruce Hitchcock of the Geneva First United Methodist Church officiating.
Calling hour will be Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
