Patricia E. Dobay


Patricia E. Dobay (nee Neville), 84, of Geneva (formerly of Orwell), passed away peacefully early Saturday morning, July 6th, 2019 at her residence. She was born in Cleveland, OH on May 4th, 1935 to the late Martin and Margaret Bors. Patricia is now once again reunited with her loving husband of 58 years, John A. Dobay, who died January 14th, 2014.
She was well known in the Orwell community as she worked many years at both Davis Hardware and Golden Dawn. She also liked volunteering at Country Neighbor in Orwell and selling her crafts at Manners Tree Farm. Patricia enjoyed playing bingo, going to casinos, shopping, playing on her ipad, and performing at the Grand Valley Fall Festival. Her greatest love though was always spending time with her family.
Patricia will be missed by: children, Robert (Carol) Towne, Richard (Debbie) Dobay, James (Pamela) Dobay, Tina (Gary) Grudowski, Kathy (Dan) Koziol, Edward (Gail) Dobay; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Butch Bors; and many friends. She is preceded in death by: her parents; husband of 58 years, John; and siblings, Edith Wargo, Loretta Smeznik, and Alice Smeznik.
A GATHERING OF FRIENDS AND FAMILY WILL BE HELD FROM 2PM - 5PM, SATURDAY, JULY 13TH, 2019 AT THE ORWELL NORTH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 135 N. MAPLE AVE, ORWELL, OH 44076. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in Patricia's memory to the Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44110.
