Randy Lee Gozzard, 62, devoted husband, loving father, patient papa, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 27, 2017.
He was born June 24, 1955 in Warren, Ohio the son of John and Pauline "Gail" (Griffith) Gozzard. Randy graduated from Edgewood High School Class of 1973. He married Judee Kister on March 22, 1991, in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Randy worked at RMI in Ashtabula. He and Judee relocated to Belleair Beach, Florida in 1996. Randy was a member of the American Legion Post #273 in Madeira Beach, Florida. He was an extremely talented and detailed craftsman. Randy enjoyed scuba diving with his wife, golfing with his family, fishing with his grandchildren, bowling, playing darts, and creating stained glass. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Randy is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Judee; his father John Gozzard; children, Jim (Shelley) Kister, Stacey (Tommy) Kister-Clark, Kristy (Jon) Dubsky, Jason McNeil, and Kelly (Mike) Jenkins; siblings, John "Buddy" (Sherry) Gozzard, Dianna (Randy) Moder, Dora "DJ" (Gary) Canter, and Kevin (Linda) Gozzard; grandchildren, Phillip, James, Tess, Allyssa, Kaihla, Riley, Adam, Nathan, Nicholas, Eric, Gavin, Matthew, and Logan; his beloved puppy, Bailey; and many nieces, nephews, and his family of friends.
He was met in heaven by his mother Gail; and his son, Michael Kister.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at 6PM at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula with Rev. Scott Racut officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday from 4PM until the time of service at 6PM.
Should friends desire memorial contributions in his name will be donated to a Youth Fishing or Gun Safety Program. Program information will be available at the service.
