Ronald Lee Wright, age 82, of Geneva, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday, March 29, 2017.
Born June 10, 1934, in Saybrook Township, Ronald was the son of Norman Clair and Blanche (McLain) Wright; he was the youngest of 18 children.
Ronald Lee married Lindie Lou Burkholder on Jan. 23, 1954, in Geneva, Ohio. Ronald's signature trade was welder for 34 years at Reliance Electric Company until his "official" retirement in 1993.
In his retirement years, he helped establish and operate the family business, "Wright's Welding". In the year 2005, Ronald pursued his lifelong calling and became the pastor of "Chapel On The Ridge" where he ministered for 5 years.
Ronald is survived by his wife, Lindie of 63 years; as well as his five children, Ronald (Nona) Wright of Geneva, Ohio, Rory (Jannette) Wright of Ashtabula, Ohio, Robin (Rev. Joseph) Toomey of Mars, Pa., Randy (Debbie) Wright of Spartanburg, S.C., and the Rev. Ryan (Stephanie) Wright of Ottawa Lake, Mich. He also leaves behind one brother, Dewane Wright of Geneva, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; six brothers; and 10 sisters.
A Memorial Service will be held in Ronald's honor at 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 29th, at People's Church, 300 South Ridge Road, Geneva, Ohio.
