Text size

Sally A. Mucci, age 65, of Conneaut, died Sunday, December 10, 2017, at the Lake Health Continuing Care Center with her family by her side.
Sally was born January 19, 1952, in Conneaut, the daughter of Fred and Theresa Julio DeMarco. She was a 1970 graduate of Conneaut High and later went on to work for the Conneaut School System as Assistant Treasurer for over 23 years.
Sally enjoyed fitness. She taught an aerobics class at the Conneaut Arts Center for 30 years. It was well attended and lots of fun. She also loved being outside and going for walks with her close friends. She was also a member of Corpus Christi Parish.
Sally especially loved spending time with her family. She would gather on Sunday nights with her mom and siblings for coffee and pastries. Sally's eyes would light up when she saw her granddaughters. Her grandchildren called her "Mac." She loved taking them to the park.
Sally loved to cook with her husband, Mike, and enjoyed making all sorts of Italian dishes together. Sally was also her son Nick's biggest baseball fan and never missed a game. She also loved shopping, shoes, Twizzlers, salt water taffy and all CLE sports (even the Browns).
Her family would like you all to know, Sally was the best!
She was preceded in death by her father Fred A. DeMarco.
Sally is survived by her mother, Theresa (Julio) DeMarco; her husband, Michael A Mucci, whom she married April 8, 1972 at St. Mary Church; a son, Nick (Angie) Mucci of Pittsburgh, PA.; a daughter, Natalie Longmuir of Middleburg Hts.; two granddaughters, Ella Longmuir and Lily Longmuir; a grandson, Parker Amend; a brother, Fred (Jennifer) DeMarco of Conneaut; two sisters, Mary (Rich) Barnard of Conneaut and Connie Guarino of Conneaut.
