Samantha Nicole Locher, age 30, Hammonds Corner Rd., Pierpont Twp., died unexpectedly Wednesday at the University Hospitals in Cleveland.
She was born August 7, 1986 in Sandusky, the daughter of Timothy & Tammy (Dahlahafer) Stutsman and has resided in this area the past 10 years, coming from Sandusky. Sam was one semester shy from receiving her nursing degree from Kent State University.
Sam enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and turkey hunting.
Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Locher, whom she married March 31, 2009 in Jefferson, two sons, Keegan & Kaden Locher, her mother, Tammy Farley of Madison, her father, Tim Stutsman of Norwalk, her step-father and his wife, Mike & Nikki Maurer of Norwalk, her mother & father-in-law, Jennifer & Dale Locher of Conneaut, a sister, Charlie Maurer, brother, Mikey Maurer and half siblings, Sierra & Austin Maurer and Cayn & Shalyn Stutsman, all of Norwalk.
Calling hours will be held Saturday from 3-5 P. M. at the Jefferson Home of Fleming & Billman Funeral Directors, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson.
