Sheila Hamilton completed her journey after a long battle with cancer with her family by her side on November 10, 2017, at the age of 60. She was born on November 7, 1957, in McDowell, KY, to Ishmel and Zinal (Osborne) Hamilton. Sheila was raised in Ashtabula, Ohio, and graduated from Ashtabula High School and The Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School in 1976. She had a passion for singing and shared her love of music with her family who she grew up singing with. She also loved to read, watch movies and spend time with her grandkids.
Sheila is preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother Terry B; and sister, Charlotte Jalovec.
She is survived by her children, Kelli Schubert and Brian of Tuttle, OK, David and Megan Hamilton of Geneva, OH, and Julia Hamilton of OKC, OK; also by a sister Connie Pelton of Ashtabula, OH; her grandchildren Joshua Schubert and Madison, Olivia and Spencer Hamilton; along with many nieces; a nephew; and two granddogs Lucy and Brodie.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness or Integris Hospice in honor of Sheila. Sheila's family would like to thank Integris Hospice for taking such wonderful care of her during these last few months. A memorial service is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14, 2017, 6:00PM at the Good News Church, Yukon, OK.
