Steven "Sloe" Ginn, 59, passed away Sunday, September 9, 2018.
He was born in Ashtabula on May 12, 1959, the son of Robert and Veronica (Rapose) Ginn.
Steve was a 1977 graduate of Harbor High School.
He worked for 27 years for Conrail.
Steve enjoyed walking, gardening and the outdoors. He collected knives from all over the world. He was a loving son, brother and uncle. He had a huge heart and would have done anything for his family and friends, especially his parents. He was loved by many.
He is survived by his parents Bob and Veronica Ginn; his sisters: Linda (Tim) Lachey and Lisa (Todd) Barbian, both of Ashtabula; his brother Michael (Carrie) Ginn of San Louis Obispo. CA.; his nephews Austin and Alec Barbian and Anthony Ginn; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Calling hours will be held Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the CZUP FUNERAL HOME, 1329 Lake Avenue, Ashtabula.
Funeral services will also be held on Friday September 14 at the funeral home beginning at noon.

Steve was suckh a good person! He had a heart of gold when his mind was made up hed do anything he could for you. im sorry for your loss. i havent seen him for a few years, and ill always remember him. Thats a wonderful picture of him. God bless you all in your time of greif.

My heartfelt condolences to the Ginn family. Steve will always be remembered for his kindness and love- Even when Lisa and I were constantly hanging out in his room. He will be greatly missed.
