Suzanne's Story

Suzanne Louise Sheldon Loesel age 77, of Erie, passed away at UPMC Hamot on July 30, 2017. She was born in Ashtabula, OH on April 2, 1940, a daughter of the late Carroll and Edna Brewer Sheldon. After graduating from Ashtabula High School in 1958, Suzanne studied at Ohio State University and received a degree as an X-Ray Technician. She worked many years in the health field for Radiology Associates and various hospitals in the Erie area.
In addition to her parents, Suzanne was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maya Eisley Loesel in 1995. She is survived by her husband George Gib Loesel along with two sons; Matthew Charles (Marni McAllister) Loesel and Michael Edward Loesel. She also leaves many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. A sister: Janice Lee Sheldon (Edward Ethan) Allen also survives along with nieces; Kelly, Kyle and Kitty. A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 5th at the Erie Cemetery, 2116 Chestnut St. Erie, with a gathering to follow at her residence, to celebrate Suzannes life. Arrangements are being handled by Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 W. 10th St., Erie.
