Thelma E. Berg, age 92 of Madison, passed away September 26, 2017 at Rae Ann Nursing Home. She was born June 9, 1925 in Morgantown, West Virginia, to James O. and Mittie C. (Poling) Fortney. Thelma worked in the cafeteria for the Madison School Systems. She was a member of the United Church, Geneva, the Red Hat Society, PACE of Geneva, enjoyed gardening, needle work, and traveling.

Grandchildren: Don DeAngelis, Tina (Roy) Kirkingburg, Jim Stroud, Tim (Leann) Stroud, Greg Cycyk, Christine (Sean) Ward, Gannon (April) Berg, Sarah (Nick) Mikash, Chuck (Kate) Rose, Heather (Greg) Geis, Matthew (Kristen) Berg, Jennifer (Joe) Berg, Randal Berg; Several Great-Grandchildren, one Great-Great-Grandchild.
