Theresa Marie Dailey, 72, was called home on Sunday, November 12, 2017.
The daughter of Jeffery and Lilliemae (Bailey) Bewley; Theresa was born on October 3, 1945, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Theresa and Thomas Dailey were united in marriage on March 19, 1973; during their forty-four year journey of love they created many cherished memories.
The Dailey family moved from Cleveland thirty-five years ago to establish their home in Jefferson.
Theresa was an LPN and worked many years with the residents of Jefferson HealthCare, a job she truly enjoyed. The staff and residents became like family to her.
Theresa liked to shop from the comfort of her home; QVC and HSN were her go to channels. She enjoyed her cat, Mamma's Kitty and her dog, Bentley. Theresa was devoted to her family: she loved her children, spoiled her grandchildren and doted on her great-grandchildren. Theresa could always be counted on to gather everyone together as a family. She was the "heart of the family."
During her battle with cancer Theresa remained positive and showed a great amount of strength and dignity. She will be remembered as a daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma, and great- grandma with a heart full of love.
Theresa is survived by her husband Thomas; children, Sean (Tracy) Dailey, Shannon Dailey; Edward (Barb) Kantor, John (Christie) Kantor, Thomas (Karen) Kantor; twenty-four loving grandchildren; seventeen precious great-grandchildren; siblings, Laura Mierau, Mary (Timothy) Dailey, Cheryl (Wayne) Hoffman, Steven Bewley, Sharon (Tamotsu) Toyama, Patricia (Jan) Caskey, and Cynthia (James Vance) Bewley; her dear friend, Sue Short and her family who are more like family than friends; many loving nieces and nephews.
Theresa was preceded in death by her son, Michael Kantor; siblings, Jeffery Bewley, Jerome Bewley, Gregory Bewley; and her parents.
Private Services will be announced and will take place at a later date.
If desired, donations in Theresa's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
DUCRO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio is privileged to serve the Dailey family.
