Thomas J. Boyce, Sr., 85 of Conneaut, passed away Thursday March 1, 2018 at Harrington Care Home. He was born December 27, 1932 in Belle Vernon, PA to Melvin Boyce & Ann Marie (Chaboy) Hicks.
Thomas served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Martin Air Craft, National Distillers, General Tire and the City of Conneaut Water Department retiring on April 1, 1996. Thomas enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He belonged to Orion Masonic Lodge #353 in Kingsville, Evergreen Lodge #222 in Conneaut and Scottish Rite Valley of Cleveland. Survivors include his wife Mary Ann (Gates) Boyce, whom he married on January 17, 1958; children, James Boyce and Thomas (Sandra) Boyce, Jr. both of Conneaut; grandchildren, Edward (Stephanie) Boyce and Amanda (Morgan) Jackson; great grandchildren, Trae, Rylan, Jase, Jaxon and Dellia; brother in law, George Gates of Conneaut; nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-father, Howard Hicks; daughter, Sandra Ann. Masonic service will be held at 12:00 Noon, immediately following will be the funeral service on Monday March 5, 2018 at the Marcy Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, with full military honors rendered by American Legion Cowle Post 151, Conneaut.
