Thomas's Story

Thomas C. Sunderlin, age 89, of Harpersfield Township, passed away on December 1, 2017, at the Harrington House, Conneaut. He was born to Charles and Vernie (Brink) Sunderlin on May 31, 1928, in Glenn Campbell, PA.
Tom was a U.S. Army Veteran, and worked for General Motors in Cleveland for 34 years. He was a member of the St. Patrick Church, Thompson, and the Rock Creek V.F.W. Post. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and a Cleveland Browns fan.
Survivors include sons, Dale (Janie) of Harpersfield Township and Charles T. of Edinburg, PA; five grandchildren, Dale II, Stacey, David, Thomas, and Stephen; great-grandchildren, Michael, Dale III, Brianna; siblings, Charles of Barnsboro, PA, and Jane Zurnick of Shaker Heights.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladene (Reeves); daughter, Georgia; siblings: Harry, Raymond, Robert and Josephine Williams his parents; granddaughter, Wendy Lynne Sunderlin.
Calling hours will be 6-8 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva. Funeral service will be 9:30 AM, Wednesday, December 6, at the funeral home, with Fr. Daniel Finery of the Assumption Church, Geneva, officiating. Burial will be at Trumbull Cemetery with Military Honors by the Geneva V.F.W. Post #6846.
