William L. Broyles, 75, of Ashtabula passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born on November 18, 1941 in Rockwood, Tennessee the son of Lonnie Broyles and Evelyn (Siler) Decastro. William was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. He served his country honorably, during Vietnam, in the United States Army. He was a hard worker and was employed with Iten Industries and the former True Temper and Elkem Companies.
Mr. Broyles is survived by his son, Maurice Broyles and James Broyles; sisters, Sherry (Lawrence) Smith and Patricia Gant; dear friend Theresa Alexander; mother of his children, Gloria Broyles; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn and Joseph Decastro; grandparents, Thadford and Lucille Ellis; and a dear son, Christopher Donnyalle Broyles in 2012.
A memorial service will be held, Saturday, November 25, 2017 at 3 PM at Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula. Friends and family will gather at the funeral home on Saturday from 2 PM until time of services at 3 PM. A repass will be held in the reception room following services and all are welcome to bring a dish to serve. www.ducro.com
