William (Will) L. Gaskell, age 75, of Yakima, Wash., passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017.
Will was born on May 11, 1942, in Ashtabula, the son of Homer B. and Helen (Porter) Gaskell.
Will graduated from Ashtabula Harbor High School in 1959. He received his B.S. and Masters Degree from Kent State University.
After college, Will began his 22 year career in the United States Air Force, and retired with the rank of Major. He then spent 12 years teaching school on an indian reservation in Montana.
Will is survived by his wife, Jethred (Wright); three children, Alan (Wendy), Heather Dacyk, and April Parke (Rob); two spe-daughters, Heather McMorrine and Polly Herron; grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Surviving siblings include brothers, Ronald K. (Florie), Robert B. (Sheila), Roger (Becky) Douglas, and Roland (Debbie); sisters, Sizanne DeGeorge and Diana Carter (Wayne).
Will was preceded in death by his parents; his late wife Patricia; and sisters, Carole A. Long and Linda L. Sousa.
