Celia A. Pawlowsk, age 88, passed away September 12, 2017, at Blossom Hill Health Care. She was born on May 5, 1929 the daughter of Richard and Catherine (Woitkowska)Temky.
Celia is survived by her children, Charlene Benton R.N. of North Bloomfield, Walter Pawlowski of Orwell, Stanley (Vey) Pawlowski of Southington, Dr. Anthony (Dr. Gay Lynn Grigor) Pawlowski of Orwell, James (Andrea) Pawlowski of Seattle, Washington, Carole (Jeff) Kepiro of Hartsgrove, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dr. S. W. Pawlowski local veterinarian, her son S. Paul Pawlowski, and siblings: Florence Wick, Henry Tanski, Janet Temky, and Helen Karmansky.
She worked beside her husband, Dr. S. W. Pawlowski to start Tri County Veterinary Service in June 1953, as an assistant and receptionist. Their son Dr. Anthony Pawlowski currently owns the practice. Celia enjoyed working outside in her flower beds, visits from her family, greeting people in the veterinary clinic, enjoyed search a word puzzles, attending sporting events of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed Ohio State Football and the Cleveland Indians.
A funeral mass officiated by Rev. John P. Madden will be held on Monday, September 18th at 11:00 am, St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, 103 N. Maple St., Orwell, OH 44076. Burial will follow at St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Paine Funeral Home, Inc., 140 E. Main Street, Orwell, OH on Sunday, September 17th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
