Following a lengthy illness, Cynthia Rose Bailey Fish, 67, passed away at Seven Rivers Hospital, Crystal River, Fla., on Monday, March 27th, 2017. Cindy was born on Aug. 16th, 1949, in Lake County, to Chalmers L. and Elizabeth Boyles Bailey.
Cindy grew up in the Rock Creek and Saybrook areas. She attended schools in Rock Creek, Jefferson and the Ashtabula School system.
Cindy enjoyed crocheting, had a great love of animals, was a waitress for many years and in her younger years enjoyed fishing. She and her husband Dan Fish, operated a small fishing business in Clearwater and Crystal River, Fla.
She is survived by her children, David Patrick Bernini, Thomas Edward (Michele) Bernini, and Tina (David Dorset) Bernini; grandchildren, Daniel Montes, Sarah Van Sickle, Katy Bernini, Summer Rose Bernini, Timothy, and Matthew Dorset; and her brothers, Merlyn Troy (Christine) Bailey, Clifford (Sherry) Bailey, Leroy (Stacey) Unsinger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Fish, on March 27th, 2015; parents; son, Gregory Scott Bernini, who died in Feb. 2017; and her grandparents, Albert and Clara Bailey and Boneita and Ed Boyles.
A memorial service will be held on April 14th, at the boat dock in Crystal River where her ashes and those of her husband will be scattered on the water near their favorite fishing spot. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
