Daniel Thomas Holub, age 68, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 22, 2017, at his residence in Westminster, Colo.
He was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Thomas and Betty Holub. He graduated from Edgewood Sr. High School then Kent State University, Kent, Ohio, and the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Mass., earning a Masters Degree in Sociology.
He spent most of his adult years in the Denver, Colo., area working for a time at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in research. He then worked as an independent paint contractor, focusing on the colorful Victorian homes in the area, one of which was featured in "Better Homes and Gardens".
Daniel loved animals and adopted many cats and dogs over the years. He also loved football and despite living in Colorado, he still always remained a Cleveland Browns fan.
He was repreceded in death by his parent and grandparents.
Surviving are his wife, Karen in Westminster; and his sister, Judi Mixer (Harold) of Surfside Beach, S.C.; two nephews and one niece.
In keeping with Daniel's wishes, no funeral services will be held.
