Debbie Hall died Dec. 13. 2016, from complications of liver disease at the age of 65.
She was active until Thanksgiving 2016 then had a sudden illness leading to her death a few weeks later in Hospice of Palm Beach County JFK Hospital. She had resided in West Palm Beach, Fla., for many years.
She was born in 1951 in Fort Worth, Texas. Debbie grew up in Harpersfield and attended Geneva City Schools graduating in 1970.
Debbie was the daughter of Harold Eugene Hall of Pierpont and Lillian Doralee (Fortier) Hall Praszek of Harpersfield.
She was preceded in death by our sister, Martha Faye Hall, and half brother, Mark Hall of Geneva.
Debbie is survived by older brothers, Robert Eugene (Bonnie) Hall of Geneva and Doane Thomas (Tom) Hall of San Francisco, and half brother Harold "Sonny" (Caroline) Hall of Jefferson. Debbie had many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was the granddaughter of Herbert and Leona Hall of Pierpont, and Cecil A. Fortier Sr. of Harpersfield. Her maternal grandmother was Martha Queen Zuver Burkhart of Unionville.
Debbie was an adventuresome person who asserted her independence in life. Her free spirit was expressed in many ways. Her youthful beauty led to an early career in modelling.
Later in life, she enjoyed bicycling along the water in West Palm Beach. She pursued a life of sobriety in her final years and remained sober.
Burial was conducted Dec. 14, 2016, at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, Lake Worth, Fla.
