Donald C. Jesson
PIERPONT- Donald C. Jesson, 76, passed away on Sunday, July16, 2017 at ACMC.
The son of John S. and Margaret C. (Hutchinson) Jesson, Don was born on June 23, 1941 in St. Paul, MN and was graduated from Riverside High School in Painesville.
Don was retired from the United States Marine Corps, he was proud of his service to his country.
Don is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
On July 22, 1972 Don was united in marriage to Patty Fassett and for nearly forty-five years they celebrated their love and commitment.
Don was a man of many interest and hobbies.
Don will be remembered as a good son and brother, wonderful husband, father and grandfather. His love for his family was unconditional.
Don is survived by his loving wife Patty Jesson of Pierpont; his son, Don and his wife, Chris Jesson of Youngsville, PA, ; and their children, Michael, Christopher, Emily, Jason, Carolyn, Samantha, Alexander, Dustin, Katharine, Jarrett; Connie Tracey of Painesville whom he thought of as a daughter; her children, David, Brian, Kayle, Kimberly, and Shane; numerous great grandchildren and their still growing families; his mother, Margaret Jesson of Berkley, MI; sisters, Sue Thomas also of Berkley, MI and Rebecca Behrens of Austin TX; loving nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his father, John S. Jesson and his brother, Thomas Jesson.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 Noon on Monday, July, 24, 017 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 571 Seven Hills Road, Ashtabula, Ohio.. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville, Ohio.
Visitation will be held from 6PM until 8PM on Sunday, July 23, 2017 and from 11: AM until 12 Noon on Monday, July 24, 2017 at the church, 571 Seven Hills Road, Ashtabula, Ohio.
