Emily I. Tataleba, 87, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, while a resident of Country Club Retirement Campus.
Emily was born on Feb. 7, 1930, in Cowansville, Pa., the daughter of Christopher and Ethel (Allen) Hooks, and had been an area resident since 1957.
A 1948 graduate of Kittanning High School, she had worked for the Ashtabula County School Employees Credit Union and previously ten years for the USI Credit Union.
On Sept. 25, 1958 Emily and George Tataleba were united in marriage in Sharon, Pa. They celebrated forty-nine years of love and memories prior to his death on April 12, 2007.
A member of the North Kingsville Presbyterian Church, she enjoyed reading, crafts, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Emily is survived by her children, Ron (Daria) Tataleba of Raleigh, N.C., and Elaine (Richard) Riegner of Lakeville, Minn.; two grandchildren, David Riegner and Nichole (Derreck) White; a great-granddaughter, Mishaela White; her brother, Paul Hooks of Kittanning, Pa.; and sisters, Katherine Hetrick of Las Vegas, Nev., and Phyllis Palermo of Kittanning, Pa.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at the ZABACK-WILLIAMS-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 West Prospect Rd., Ashtabula. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memory Gardens, North Kingsville.
A calling hour will be observed from 12:30 p.m. until time of service, at the funeral home.
