Erik Bryan Romig, age 36, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2017.
While on this earth, Erik embraced life. He never met a stranger. Generous in personality. Whimsical in nature. Eric's humor was infectious, and his animations imprinted many hearts. He was a strong Republican, and took pride in being an American and in his country. Erik loved adventure along with collecting his tattoos.
His trades were construction and painting, he enjoyed gardening, giving flowers, fixing broken toys for his nieces and nephews, even babysitting to diaper duty with baby talk and a smile. There was never a job he would not do. Erik also enjoyed bull riding, camping, playing with children and his cell phone taking many comical selfies, but was passionate with fishing since his pole hit water at age three.
Erik is survived by his parents, Larry and Tonya Romig in North Bloomfield, Ohio; a son, Logan; sisters, Suzette R., Dominique N. (Justin); and brother Richard R.; his grandmother with whom he shared a home; grandfather Raymond R.,;nieces and nephews, Ellaina, Jayden, Keiffer, Marshell a.k.a. Otto, Scarlett, Lucas, and Greyson; his girlfriend Valerie; pitbull doggy daughter Prada; and a great many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Erik left thirty-six years of beloved memories to cherish in remembrance of his life lived.
He was preceded in death by two siblings; his great- and great-great-grandparents; a cousin; and a few good friends.
