John A. Adams, II, 76, of Ashtabula Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
John was born on August 27, 1941 in Ashtabula the son of John A. and Frances Adams. He retired from Grand River Plastics after 37 years in 2008. Mr. Adams enjoyed going to Antique car shows, especially at Lake Shore Park and attending auctions at Hamiltons Auction House. Above all else, he loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 36 years, Florence M. (Arisman) Adams; and a half-brother, Peter Noce.
John is survived by his two sons, Robert (Margaret) Adams and John A. (Amy) Adams, III; grandchildren, Allen Ely, Annabelle and Robbie Adams and Alex and Kayla Adams; great-grandson Luke; brother, Ed (Chris) Adams; half-sister, Louise Tinker; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. at the Zaback-Williams-Ducro Funeral Home, 500 W. Prospect Rd., Ashtabula with Pastor David Adams, of Grace Gospel Church, officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 2PM until time of services at 4PM. Burial at Edgewood Cemetery will be held Monday, October 2 at 10:00 A.M.
