Richard Diemer, age 81, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017, at his home. He was born on Sept. 4, 1935, in Cleveland, the son of Franklin and Dorothy (Bubetz) Diemer.
Richard was married to Carol Anne (Chebra) Diemer on Aug. 6, 1986. He served in the Army National Guard and worked for Ohio Bell for 25 years as a Lineman and Installer until his retirement. Richard's hobbies were classic wooden boat restoration, along with Vintage antique automobiles, toys and pedal cars. He thoroughly enjoyed captaining the old wooden speed boats.
He is survived by his wife, Carol; daughters, Kimberly Post, Roseanne (Darrell) Nuzum, Kimberly Winters, Marcella (Brian) Reed and Melissa (Michael) Ferry; sons, Michael, Brian, Gregory, Scott, Darryl, Raymond (Mary) Burkhammer; and numerous grand- and great-grandchildren.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Dolores Thomas; and son, David Burkhammer.
