Wanda Marie Quinn, 91, was reunited with her beloved husband, Edward on Sunday, May 21, 2017, while surrounded with the love of her daughter, Mary Beth Quinn, and her niece, Jennifer Lautanen, both of whom were always by her side.
Wanda was born July 7, 1925, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., the daughter of Russell and Mariah (Pennington) Hope. She graduated from "Soo" High School, Class of 1943.
On Nov 30, 1946, Wanda and Edward were married in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and together they created fifty-five years of love and memories.
Wanda enjoyed the time spent with her friends, family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and supporting their endeavors. Her love and encouragement meant so much to so many. She was an avid card player and belonged to several bridge clubs. Wanda also enjoyed volunteering at ACMC for many years.
Wanda's survivors include her beloved daughter, Mary Beth Quinn of Ashtabula; two grandchildren, Thomas Quinn and David (Holly) Masirovits; four great-grandchildren, Eddie Quinn and Carissa, Kayla and David Masirovits; and several loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Quinn; her parents; sister, Dorothy Lind; and brothers, Willard, Kenneth, Wallace, and Fred Hope.
Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Friday, May 26, 2017, at the Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula. Burial will be in Ridgeview Cemetery.
A Calling Hour will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 12 Noon, Friday, at the funeral home.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Wanda's name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 1166 Lake Ave., Ashtabula or the Our Lady of Peace Parrish Food Pantry, 3312 Lake Ave., Ashtabula.
