Conneaut, Ohio - Barbara J. Arcaro, age 86, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, at the Villa at the Lake, where she has resided this past year.

Barb was born on June 16, 1938, in Conneaut, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Gurto) Charles. She was a 1957 Conneaut High School graduate. She worked for a short time at the Astatic Corporation and Printcraft but was primarily a homemaker.

Barb was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, where she was very involved with various activities, Women of the Moose, Cara Mia Club and the American Legion Century Club. She especially loved the time she spent with her family and friends and doing things for them.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Anthony J. Arcaro whom she married September 13, 1958, sisters Madeline Ruffers, Lucille Benn, Anna Jones, Rose Giangola and Jennie Richcreek, brothers Joseph Charles, Anthony Charles, James Charles and Richard Charles.

Barbara is survived by a daughter Laurie J. and Christopher Ricaurte and a son Robert and Lonna Arcaro, all of Conneaut.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Raisian Funeral Home, 581 Harbor St, Conneaut, Ohio.

Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, with Fr. Phillip Miller of Corpus Christi Parish officiating.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memory Gardens, N. Kingsville, Ohio.
