She was born September 1, 1953 in Warren, Ohio. She is survived by her daughter Carrie Malloy; her sisters Diane Jayjohn and Rebecca Price; her grandchildren Jonathan and Nicholas Clark, and Becca and Jacob Malloy; and also her stepchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward C. Monroe Sr. whom she married March 10, 1976 in Jefferson, Ohio; and also her parents Daniel and Alma Schlecht.
