ASHTABULA, Ohio - Carole Swogger, age 83, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2026. She was born in Shelbyville, KY, the daughter of Frances and Paul Green.
She is survived by her son, Richard Swogger; sister-in-law, Joyce Green; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Edmond and Robert Green.
Carole attended Georgtown University (Undergraduate) and Youngstown University (Masters). She taught at Harbor High School in Ashtabula, Ohio, and also did private tutoring in English and French.
Among Carole's human interests were taking several classes to France to practice their conversational skills since she taught English and French. She loved the outdoors, especially flowers and trees.
She was a member of Buffalo Lick Baptist Church and Lighthouse Baptist Church.
She was loved and will be missed by all.
