Corrine "Connie" Isabelle Webb, 93, died Sunday, March 9th 2025.

She was born March 18th, 1931 in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of Glen C. and Ruth (Clark) Cosgrove and spent most of her life in the Ashtabula area with the exception of the 20 years that she lived in Las Vegas.

She graduated in 1949 from Ashtabula High School. She continued her education at Antioch College and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Lake Erie College.

Corrine had 3 children. 2 daughters, Gail George and Julie (George) Harchalk of Ashtabula, Ohio and one son, Steven George of Las Vegas, Nevada. She was happily married to Taft Webb for 27 years until he passed away in 1998.

She spent many years as a Secretary at Ridgeview Elementary School. She was also a medical transcriptionist and volunteered with several different organizations throughout her years teaching others how to read and assimilate society.

She was a Girl Scout leader and wonderful role model not just for her own daughters but to countless other young woman she mentored along the way. She loved to read, do cross words and play Scrabble. She also enjoyed following politics, spending time with her family and traveling. Sedona, Arizona was her all-time favorite place.

Survivors include her 3 children mentioned above, 4 granddaughters, Danielle Harchalk, Michelle (Harchalk) Filler, Staci Hines and Alyssa George and 6 great grandchildren, Corey Harchalk, Brandon Harchalk, Jade Dodeci, Zakary Filler, Mason Hutter and Brody Ponder.

Preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Robert A. Cosgrove and husband, Taft Webb.

The family will be honoring her request to forgo the traditional funeral services and instead ask that those who knew her take a moment to share a thought or story using the comment section below. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or make a donation to the Arbor Day Foundation in her honor.

Always the Teacher, even with her passing, Corrine continues to aid in educating our future Doctors, Nurses and Teachers through donating her body to science.
