Geneva, OH - Darlene L. Walton, 77, passed 08/13/2026 in Mentor. Born 06/01/1949 in Geneva, she was a daughter of Edward and Ethel (Watts) Bates. Darlene was the administrative assistant at Lakeland Nursing Home. Having lived all her life in Geneva, she loved to spend time with her family, playing the piano, square dancing, walking and gardening.
Left to cherish her memory, are her children: Deanna (Doug) Greenwood and Lloyd Walton; Grandchildren: Curtis and Kyle Greenwood; Brother: Gary (Darlene) Bates.
She was preceded by her husband, Cecil and her parents.
Visitation: 08/18/2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home, 828 Sherman St., Geneva.
Graveside service following at Trumbull Cemetery with Chaplain Charles Pahlman officiating.
