David (Dave) H. Conley, age 74, of Kingsville passed away peacefully on December 8, 2021, at Ashtabula County Medical Center after a brief illness. Dave was born in Conneaut, Ohio on April 3, 1947 to Henry and Winifred (Barns) Conley. He graduated from Conneaut High School and began a 23-year career with EMCO Wheaton as a mechanical engineer. He continued his career working at General Aluminum and Andover Industries.

Dave, along with his wife Kay of 38 years, owned Kay's Place in Kingsville, Ohio. He would delight in his daily chats at the counter, getting to know the local customers, as well as those who were just passing through. Dave was a hot rod enthusiast, one who always looked forward to the warm weather so he could drive his Roadster around town. He was an avid music lover and enjoyed listening to all genres of music with Kay.

Dave is survived by his wife; Kay Conley (Loftus); his children, Lorrie Leaven; Kimberly Thomas (Joel); Larry Leaven (John Carlino); Kelly Orrenmaa (Jon); Lonnie Simpson (Eric) and David Wallace; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

There will be no service at this time. A memorial will be held in the Spring of 2022. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made in his memory to Shriner's Hospital for Children or to Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
