Conneaut Lake, PA - Deborah A. Ormston, age 75, of Conneaut Lake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, April 29, 2026, at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh.

She was born on October 4, 1950, in Jersey City, New Jersey, a daughter of William and Dorothy (McNulty) Ormston.

Debbie was a 1968 graduate of Nutley High School and went on to earn both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Duquesne University in journalism and school psychology.

She dedicated many years of service as a school psychologist with the Ashtabula County school system retiring in 2015.

Debbie found joy in reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. She was an active member of Epiphany of Our Lord Parish, St. Agatha Church, two book clubs, her church group, The Mardi Club, and was a longtime member of The Meadville Community Theatre.

She is lovingly survived by her cousin, Anita Bush (John) and their children, Zachary and Victoria; she was a special Aunt to Ian and Emily Page; and has many dearly cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday 5-6-26 from 10:00 AM until the time of service in ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC., 12422 CONNEAUT LAKE RD., CONNEAUT LAKE. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday 5-6-26 at 11:00 AM in the funeral home with Father Jeff Lucas, officiating.

Burial will be private in St. Agatha Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
