Dunnellon, FL - Denise Laureen Bancroft (Winchester), age 81, passed away peacefully on 7-10-2026 at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital in Inverness, Fl. Born on 7-4-1945, in Kingsville, Oh, Denise lived a life filled with the love, dedication, and cherished memories.

Denise was the beloved wife of Harold Clark and the late James Bancroft, a devoted Mother to her three children: Keith Bancroft (Terri), Christopher Bancroft (Kelly), and Carrie Bancroft. She was also the proud Grandmother to Scott Bancroft, Alex Bancroft (Jessica), and Rylee Bancroft, as well as a Great Grandmother to Gabriel, Georgia, and Gemma. Denise's family extended further to include her brother Dennis Winchester

(Janie), nephews Terry (Lynne), Larry Winchester, and niece Stacy Autry (David), and several very special cousins.

She was predeceased by her father Harland Winchester(Ollie) and her mother Shirley Bancroft (Clyde)

Denise dedicated 27yrs of her professional life as a workshop specialist at Ash/Craft Industries in Ashtabula, Ohio. Her work with individuals with developmental disabilities brought her immense joy and fulfillment. She held her clients close to her heart and found deep purpose in helping them thrive.

Denise loved playing cards with her friends and cherished every moment she spent with her family. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandma, she took pride in nurturing those she loved most.
